Rhythm N’ Roots Choir family welcomes a new Children’s Choir under the direction of Amy Stephen!!
Rhythm N’ Roots Children’s Choir provides a fun and energetic musical foundation for young singers. We are a new children’s choir in Vancouver – singing world, folk and pop music with an emphasis on rhythm, spirit and getting the music in our bodies! This choir is for boys and girls –ages 7-11 and no prior singing or music reading experience necessary.
RnRCC will be directed by the enthusiastic and talented Amy Stephen (B.Mus/B.Ed). Amy is a very well-known Vancouver musician with many years of teaching, conducting and performing experience. She has toured extensively as a singer and multi-instrumentalist and is passionate about sharing her joy and love of music. http://www.amystephenmusic.com/
- Rhythm N’ Roots Children’s Choir will meet every Wednesday evening 5:00 pm – 6:15 pm at St. David’s of Wales Church (2475 Franklin Street in East Vancouver)
- Our first session will run from Jan 22nd to May 14th (15 weeks). The choir will perform at the end of the term.
- The cost is $200/term
- We will learn the music both by ear and from written scores.
- We need about 20 singers to start off!
- This choir is for children who love to sing, move, groove, have fun and learn more about singing and music!
