TriVo, the vocal a cappella trio of Karla Mundy (Director of Island Soul Choir), Brian Tate and Dawn Pemberton are bringing music that inspires the soul our way in an amazing one-day workshop.
Get ready to clap, dance and sing, and have an experience to remember! Together, we will groove and sing our way through fun and funky songs, steps and rhythms. No prior singing experience needed… No need to read music…
All that’s required is a joyful spirit and desire to sing.
There will be opportunities for aspiring soloists to solo in a fun and encouraging atmosphere (optional).

Join Karla Mundy for an exciting week-long intensive, designed to get you primed, pumped and inspired for your upcoming choral season!
Together, we will explore the fundamentals behind many rich ensemble singing styles and vocal traditions from around the world. Join this Bootcamp choir and be prepared to stretch your ears, strengthen your vocal technique, ear training skills, rhythmic health and build your overall confidence! Come ready to sing, stomp, clap and sing some more! We will be singing a diverse repertoire…Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Gospel Quartet, Bluegrass and more…
On Wednesday and Friday, we will be joined by special guest percussionists/teachers Paul Bray and Toto Berriel. They will be providing us with a deeper understanding of the rhythms that form the foundation of some of the songs we will be learning.
This course is for singers with some singing/choral experience. Class size is limited to 50 people.
Cost is $125 -early-bird rate before July 1st ($150 after July 1st)
This course will be held at the lovely St David of Wales Church in East Vanocuver. 2475 Franklin Street (one block north of Hastings and one block east of Nanaimo)
